Elizabeth Riley

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNC Charlotte, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor. I work with teens and adults to address relationship and family issues, career and academic concerns, and adjustment to major life changes. In addition, I specialize in women’s issues, providing support for presenting concerns such as poor self-esteem/body image, infertility, postpartum depression, teen pregnancy, sexual health, social concerns, and marital/familial conflict. I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Attachment-Based Therapy techniques into my practice to provide clients with optimal care. Upon request, I also incorporate creative mediums such as art, music, and writing into counseling sessions to help promote client self-expression. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space for all clients where we build strong therapeutic relationships and work collaboratively to achieve client goals.
