I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNC Charlotte, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor. I work with clients of all ages to address various concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship/family issues, self-esteem issues, and adjustment to major life changes. I integrate cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused techniques into my practice to provide clients with optimal care. When appropriate, I also incorporate creative mediums such as art, music, and writing into counseling sessions to help promote client self-expression. When working with children, I utilize play therapy, sand tray therapy, and the expressive arts in counseling sessions. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space for all clients where we build strong therapeutic relationships and work collaboratively to achieve client goals.
