I earned my master's degree in Counselor Education from The University of Central Florida and have over 3 years of experience working with individuals ages 3-65 in a private practice setting. I particularly love working with individuals who struggle with anxiety and work through a trauma-informed lens. I specialize in Play Therapy which is one of the most effective and proven methods for working with children. I like to use a lot of creativity in my approach to helping others and often utilize Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to help individuals reach their desired goals.
My passion is helping children work through their own struggles and working with and supporting parents through that journey. I have a lot of experience helping children and their families work through difficulties such as: separation anxiety, frequent tantrums, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I believe that collaborating with and supporting parents provides the best help for their children. I do my best to create a safe space where people can be exactly who they are, no filters or walls. It is through that authenticity and safety people can truly heal and grow.
