My passion for helping others came from watching my family assist in the foster care system, I watched my grandmother take on countless cases while helping the parents and families involved. I love the idea of being able to help families instead of addressing one piece in the dynamic. As I grew into an adult, I found myself deeply passionate about supporting individuals and families on their journey towards healing and reconnection.

My goal is to be part of the solution and help my clients explore new avenues, past issues, build resilience, and foster emotional wellness. I want to empower family and couple dynamics, break down barriers, and assist in the evolution of a connected entity.

I am currently in the process of completing my master’s degree in social work at Walden university. I have a strong background in behavioral health, helping children & families navigate through behaviors and difficult circumstances in the school system. I gained experience in this area working as a Registered Behavior Technician employed by the school system. I also have experience working with children who have autism or severe behavioral diagnosis through my background in Applied Behavioral Science. In total, I have been in this line of work for four years and I look forward to continuing this work and improving my personal practice.

While working with clients I often focus on the resilience of individuals and family dynamics, I think it’s important to identify, nurture, and build on the strengths that families & couples already possess. Another focus for me is to modify patterns of interactions through positive reinforcement and behavioral change through communication, coaching, and problem-solving techniques. These approaches highlight the capacity for growth, adaptation, and healing in the face of adverse situations and conflict.
